Batman: Arkham Knight has received some new gameplay details today thanks to a big coverage on the game published on the latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine.
Most of the new details involve the Batmobile. Apparently gamers will be able to call the vehicle while gliding by targeting the spot you want to drive to. Using the Batmobile will actually affect several elements of the locations, as everything that gets hit by the vehicle is affected. You will also be able to drive through the city in a really fast way, using a boost function that gets recharged by drifting around corners. One thing that’s still uncertain about the Batmobile is if there are going to be some upgrades available for it. Rocksteady has neither confirmed nor denied this matter, meaning that they’re still probably thinking about it.
Aside from the Batmobile details, more details have emerged on gadgets’ usage. We have known for some time now that Batman will be able to use some of his gadgets while gliding. Apparently using them in the air will come with a slow-motion effect but it’s not yet known if there’s going to be any other concrete advantage.
Batman: Arkham Knight launches this October on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
